ATTS COFFEE is tucked away in a small alley near Jiantzi Cuicui MRT Station. It’s a café opened in Taiwan by a Japanese father and son duo. Their coffee is certified by the Specialty Coffee Association of Japan (SCAJ). The shop also roasts its own premium beans, so coffee lovers should definitely check it out. But for someone like me who doesn’t drink coffee, they also offer dry curry sets and light meals—and their rice is delicious. The curry is rich and flavorful, definitely worth recommending.

It’s just about a five-minute walk from Jiantzi Cuicui MRT Station, not far at all.

When I visited, the place was almost full, so I felt a bit awkward taking too many photos and ended up not capturing their roasted specialty coffee. They also sell coffee beans from Ethiopia.

The café is really bustling, with a continuous stream of customers.

The funny thing about this place is that the owner, manager, and staff are almost all Japanese—they speak to you in a mix of Chinese and Japanese. It really gives you the feeling of, “Am I in Japan?” And occasionally having that illusion isn’t a bad thing.

The menu is primarily focused on dry curry.

For afternoon tea, there are options like pancakes.

The light meals are good too—sandwiches, pizza, etc.

Hot latte
You absolutely have to try the coffee here, especially the pour-over. But drinking it myself was kind of a waste—I really can’t tell the difference, I don’t understand coffee at all~ XD

I’ll just stick with black tea, haha. I prefer tea over coffee anyway, and I know good tea when I taste it.

Curry Udon $160
The broth is said to be rich, and the noodles are chewy—it’s probably Sanuki udon.

Shibuya-style Dry Curry $160
At first I was curious about what dry curry is. It’s basically curry with less sauce, but even though it’s Japanese-style, it has a richer and more intense flavor. The minced meat is well-seasoned, making it super tasty and great with rice.

I’m guessing this must be Japanese rice—it has that very authentic Japanese texture, and it’s delicious.

Dry Curry Pizza $150
The curry pizza is quite creative—the slightly burnt cheese wraps the curry. One bite gives you the texture of toast, the richness of curry, and the creaminess of the cheese. It’s really unique.

Look at how tempting that is.

Dry Curry Sandwich $130
I really like this dish. If you don’t want rice or noodles but still want some dry curry, this is a good option. It’s not too heavy but still lets you enjoy the rich flavor of the curry. Each set comes with corn chips and fruit yogurt—a pretty unique and refreshing combo.

Ginza Beef Rice Bowl $170
The presentation is amazing—even someone like me who doesn’t usually like beef was drawn to it. It’s a comforting Japanese dish, with a rich and flavorful rice bowl topped with the smooth creaminess of fresh cream. It’s really appealing.
