Located on Dalong Road, Dabao G opened at the end of December 2016 as the brand’s fourth branch. In addition to its stretchy “Crown Fried Chicken” and squid rice cake hot pot, the shop also features a 120cm mega skewer that’s full of flair and generously filled. Many customers often ask what the dish “hanging from the chandelier” is when they see it in the store. In fact, it’s a creative take on the original Korean meat skewers—a 120cm mega skewer that’s cooked in three stages: pork, chicken, and seafood.

That is, the 120cm mega skewer is a long string of pork belly, pork shoulder, chicken thigh, deep-sea squid, angel red shrimp, vegetables and fruits, green bell peppers, white onions, purple onions, garlic sprouts, golden pineapples, cherry tomatoes, lemons, and more. Vegetables are used to hold the meat so it doesn’t fall off. The length and weight are truly astonishing. Since it’s hung from the lamp, the dripping juices land perfectly on the grill plate, and the aroma of the dish can be smelled from afar.

The cooking method involves taking down the pork first, then the chicken, and when they’re almost done, mixing in vegetables and fruits to stir-fry. It’s served in three separate batches. The grill plate is specially designed—you can even add egg to make a scrambled egg dish. The lemon on the side goes well with the seafood.

Sauces and sides include Korean kimchi and garlic slices, along with Korean soy sauce, pepper, sesame oil, and salt for seasoning. Each two-person set comes with two bowls of rice and a plate of lettuce, so you won’t go hungry.
