Danish oysters once went viral in mainland China. Regardless of whether it was a marketing stunt, it helped more people learn about oysters as a delicious ingredient. In Taiwan, many people also love oysters, which are widely available at restaurants, but those that offer all-you-can-eat oysters are quite rare. This summer, The Lalu’s Yunxuan Western Restaurant introduced top-tier “Sligeac Oysters” from Ireland, flown directly to Taiwan for the first time. Feng FOOD buffet offers Washington oysters bigger than your face, and Mandarin Café serves oysters imported from France.

Yunxuan Western Restaurant
The Lalu’s Yunxuan Western Restaurant introducedtop-tier “Sligeac Oysters” (Sligeac Oyster) from Ireland, flown directly to Taiwan,,available every Friday to Sunday afternoon tea session (15:00–17:00) starting July 7,where each person can enjoy unlimited Sligeac Oysters for NT$1,180 + 10%. The buffet also offers over 20 varieties of fresh organic vegetables, Japanese tempura, seasonal fresh seafood, a freshly squeezed juice bar, made-to-order pasta, Movenpick ice cream, and a wide range of exquisite desserts – all unlimited.

In addition to using herbs and olive oil to highlight different flavors of the oysters, the chef also prepares an “Oyster Margarita” made with tomato juice, celery, Tabasco, and black pepper, allowing guests to enjoy multiple signature oyster styles in one go.

Feng FOOD Buffet
Feng FOOD Buffet, which offers over 200 specialty dishes for unlimited enjoyment, launched its all-you-can-eat “King Oysters of Washington,” known as the pearls of the sea, this summer after its limited 10-day tuna season in early June. These oysters, bigger than your face, are charcoal-grilled for 3–5 minutes and ready to enjoy – and there’s no worry about running out.

Mandarin Café
Located on the fifth floor of Mandarin Oriental Taipei, Mandarin Café (Café Un Deux Trois), which serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and afternoon tea, has launched a“Seafood All-You-Can-Eat Bar”featuring premium imported oysters as the star. Guests can choose one chef-recommended meat main course, and also enjoy unlimited access to the seafood station, including chef-selected premium imports such as French oysters, Argentine red shrimp, New Zealand mussels, and Yilan clams.
