Mobile capsule hotel super popular — sleeper bus lets you sleep all the way from San Francisco to Los Angeles

When traveling within the United States, most people probably take flights or drive themselves. Now, travelers from San Francisco to Los Angeles can also trya sleeper hotel bus, which should be much more comfortable than the previous two modes of transport.

According to the Lonely Planet website,this sleeper bus called “Cabin” was actually launched last year, and tickets sold out within three days, with a waitlist of up to 20,000 people. Why is it so popular? Because on long journeys, nothing beats the comfort of a sleeper berth.

In terms of ticket prices, a one-way trip costs about $115 (approximately 3,500 TWD), departing at 11 PM and arriving at the destination around 7 AM the next morning. One of the reasons it’s so popular with travelers is luggage allowance — passengers can bring two large pieces of luggage and one carry-on bag.

In fact, the concept of a sleeper bus is similar to staying in a capsule hotel in Japan. To make the journey smoother, the bus has also been specially designed for safety and prioritizes passenger privacy. The bus offers Wi-Fi, as well as tea and coffee, among other amenities. Although the currently operating route is mainly from San Francisco to Los Angeles, the bus company says it will develop more routes in the future.
