It’s not just about taste, but creativity too. The “Bubble Risotto,” which has recently become a hot topic in Kaohsiung, features a giant pink bubble that looks like it’s been blown up like a balloon, sitting atop Italian-style risotto. Visually dreamy and with a distinctly aesthetic Korean flair, the vendor’s unique approach has sparked an entirely new culinary trend.

▲MiShi Kitchen has long enjoyed considerable recognition in Kaohsiung and was even selected as one of the top ten forest-themed restaurants.
Once chosen as one of “Taiwan’s Top Ten Hottest Forest-Themed Restaurants,” MiShi Kitchen blends industrial and rustic interior design, featuring hanging bundles of dried flowers and lush green plants, making diners feel as though they’re eating in a floral wonderland. Later, it introduced its innovative Bubble Cheese Risotto series, now a wildly popular signature dish that customers constantly ask about.

▲The Bubble Risotto has received high praise from fans for both its appearance and flavor.
There are currently four flavors in the Bubble Risotto series: basil bacon, cheese garden bacon, spicy chicken, and spicy pork. When the Bubble Risotto is served, customers often react with surprise. One netizen joked that the large translucent pink bubble is adorable, resembling the flying disc bubblegum they loved as kids, while the rich ingredients beneath the bubble are slightly visible, adding a sense of mystery and fun.

▲After breaking the bubble, the thin film of cheese falls into the bowl, complemented by a dash of the shop’s exclusive creamy sauce – a must-try dish for cheese lovers.
In reality, the seemingly romantic pink bubble is actually made of cheese. The vendor uses a special machine to melt cheese water and blow it into balloon-like shapes, which are then placed on top to become the perfect garnish for the flavorful risotto. Diners can first drizzle a bit of the cheese cream sauce, then, after breaking the bubble, stir everything together with utensils. The savory, stretchy cheese successfully wins over the hearts of girls.
