Typhoon Fenghuang Approaches – Some Flights Canceled or Delayed

Typhoon Fenghuang is gradually approaching Taiwan, and airlines have canceled or postponed some international and domestic flights on the 20th and 21st. Travelers planning to fly on these days are advised to check flight information before departure.

China Airlines has canceled the Taipei (Tainan)–Hong Kong CI867/868 and Kaohsiung–Hong Kong CI931/932 flights on the 20th and 21st. Due to the impact of Typhoon Fenghuang, China Airlines will cancel the Hong Kong–Kaohsiung CI0936 flight on September 20 and assist passengers in transferring to other flights.

Mandarin Airlines has canceled the Taipei–Taitung AE395/396 flights on the 20th; all domestic flights on the 21st are canceled, while international flights will operate as normal.

EVA Air’s international flights are operating normally. Uni Air’s international flights on the 20th will remain in normal operation, and those on the 21st are generally expected to run as scheduled, with adjustments made flexibly based on weather conditions.

However, Uni Air has canceled a total of 12 domestic flights on the 20th, with one flight departing earlier and two additional flights added. The canceled flights include Taipei–Taitung, Taichung–Kinmen, Kaohsiung–Kinmen, Tainan–Makung, Kaohsiung–Makung, and Taipei–Matsu Beigan. Meanwhile, the departure time for the Makung–Taipei flight has been moved forward from 7:05 p.m. to 4:45 p.m., and two extra flights have been added for the Taipei–Matsu Nangan route.

TransAsia Airways will maintain normal flight operations across all routes on the 20th and will not be affected by Typhoon Fenghuang. TransAsia continues to monitor weather conditions to determine flight schedules, and any changes will be updated on its official website.
