Héshè Lechú’s “Mega Buffet” is all the rage; staff say phone lines are overwhelmed

Yesterday (23rd), 《ETtoday Dongsen Travel Cloud》 reportedon the opening of a “mega buffet restaurant” in Nangang with 70 kinds of desserts,which led to frenzied sharing among netizens. As of the 25th, over 100,000 users had liked and shared it, making it the latest hot topic in food. It is understood thatthe restaurant’s staff have been inundated with reservation calls, with some people queuing up as early as dawn just to secure free entry during discounted lunch and dinner periods, while some netizens said they couldn’t get through on the reservation line and really wanted to eat but couldn’t.

A reporter called the public relations personnel of the Héshè Group Hospitality Group, who stated that on the first day of opening (24th), people started queuing up before 6:30 am to grab the discount offers. By around 7:20 am, the queue had already exceeded 30 people. Among them, a small number of people insisted on waiting until after the lunch number draw to join the queue, switching to vie for the first 30 discounted spots for dinner. Even as late as 7 pm, many families with children were still queuing up outside the restaurant hoping to get self-paid entry.

The PR personnel further explained that the booking demand was extremely high, and the on-site staff were overwhelmed with phone calls. Given the limited availability, they were unable to meet everyone’s reservation requests and expressed their deepest apologies.Currently, all dining slots up to the end of September are fully booked and no longer accepting reservations. Even weekends in October are in high demand, with only waitlist spots currently available. It is recommended that those wishing to try Héshè Lechú take advantage of weekday lunch and dinner slots, where the discounted lunch price of NT$680 + 10% is still available until the end of the year.
