240,000 tickets sold in 8 hours！Taiwan Railways: Some seats still available for Double Ten holiday travel

Tickets for Taiwan Railways' National Day holiday period (October 9 to October 13) went on sale at midnight today (25th). According to statistics from the Taiwan Railways Administration covering phone bookings, online sales, and convenience store ticketing systems, a total of 144,600 transactions involving 244,281 tickets were completed within just 8 hours, with seats still available on all routes.

The Taiwan Railways Administration reminded passengers who have successfully booked tickets to complete ticket collection at any sales channel across Taiwan within two days (including the day of booking), or to finalize payment via the online credit card payment system. Tickets not collected by the deadline will be released again at 9:00 a.m. on September 27.

I. Ticket reservation overview for the Eastern Line:
(1) Yilan Line, North-Link Line, and Hualien-Taitung Line
1. Taipei to Hualien and Taitung directions
From 1:00 p.m. on October 9 to 3:00 p.m. on October 10, all Tze-Chiang Limited Express seats are sold out, but some Fu-Hsing Semi-Express and other Tze-Chiang time slots still have available seats.
2. Taitung and Hualien to Taipei directions
From 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on October 12, all Tze-Chiang Limited Express seats are sold out, but some Fu-Hsing Semi-Express and other Tze-Chiang time slots still have available seats.
(2) South-Link Line
1. Kaohsiung to Taitung direction
From 3:00 p.m. on October 9 to 2:00 p.m. on October 10, all Tze-Chiang Limited Express seats are sold out, but some Fu-Hsing Semi-Express and other Tze-Chiang time slots still have available seats.
2. Taitung to Kaohsiung direction
After 9:00 a.m. on October 12, all Tze-Chiang Limited Express seats are sold out, but some Fu-Hsing Semi-Express and other Tze-Chiang time slots still have available seats.

II. Ticket reservation overview for the Western Line:
1. Taipei to Kaohsiung direction
From 4:00 p.m. on October 9 to 11:00 a.m. on October 10, all Tze-Chiang Limited Express seats are sold out, but some Fu-Hsing Semi-Express and other Tze-Chiang time slots still have available seats.
2. Kaohsiung to Taipei direction
After 10:00 a.m. on October 12, all Tze-Chiang Limited Express seats are sold out, but some Fu-Hsing Semi-Express and other Tze-Chiang time slots still have available seats.
