Located at the entrance on Siyuan Street, the "Water Village Garden" in the Taipei Water Park is a popular water play area for children and adults alike every summer. The play facilities, built using replicas of water pipes and assembled in the pool, shoot bursts of water columns under the scorching sun and occasionally sprinkle down waterfalls. The refreshing mist in the air instantly relieves the intense summer heat. To help the public beat the heat this summer, the Taipei Water Department announced that as long as visitors take a photo of themselves drinking water at a direct drinking fountain in parks or hiking trails and upload it to the Taipei Water Facebook fan page along with a comment about the location, they can enjoy free entry to the Taipei Water Park during the entire month of August.

The Water Village Garden in the Taipei Water Park, a popular summer water play spot in Taipei, retains the same facilities as previous years but has enhanced shaded resting areas so that children and adults can take a well-deserved break after playing and then continue enjoying the water fun. The Fountain Garden Plaza has added a new fountain corridor, providing a cool retreat even for younger children.
