Koko Black Tea, a brand operating in Taichung for nearly a decade, revamped its store design starting in 2016 with a high-end British-inspired look, making buying bubble tea feel like indulging in an elegant afternoon tea. Established in 2008, Koko Black Tea uses carefully selected black tea from Sri Lanka that undergoes a maturation process of 12 to 36 months, resulting in a rich and mellow flavor. The matured black tea helps cut through greasiness, with a robust tea aroma and fruity notes. The Opium Black Tea, recommended by the shop to pair with seafood for its refreshing taste and subtle floral hints, offers a uniquely refined experience.

There’s also an Oolong (European-style milk tea) series that includes fresh milk.
