A super adorable army of Doraemons has appeared in central Tokyo！Every summer, dozens of life-size Doraemon plush toys holding various mysterious gadgets from the comics, or making cute faces, show up at 66 Plaza in Roppongi Hills, turning it into a limited-time summer attraction that both adults and kids can’t bear to leave.

The summer event hosted by TV Asahi, “TV Asahi's Roppongi Hills Summer Festival: Summer Station,” has officially kicked off. The most popular photo spot is the 66 Doraemons, each about 120 cm tall, holding various secret gadgets that have appeared in the manga or making cute expressions at 66 Plaza in Roppongi Hills. It’s become a limited-time summer destination that both adults and children don’t want to leave.

But in reality, there are of course more than just these 66 Doraemon plush toys. Inside the TV Asahi headquarters, there are many hidden plush toys placed around the building—for example, on the 7th-floor rooftop, there’s a 10-meter-tall giant Doraemon, alongside various play facilities for kids, as well as other Doraemons, also about 120 cm tall, greeting visitors in every corner.

In addition, TV Asahi has opened up its staff canteen, which was also very popular last year, for visitors to dine in. Depending on the TV show, special themed meals are also offered, allowing visitors to relax and eat here. The event site also features a variety of food activities and VR experiences. On the first floor of the TV station, there’s also a dedicated Doraemon merchandise corner, letting the round and adorable charm of Doraemon accompany fans through a healing summer vacation.
