Milone, head chef of the Michelin one-star restaurant “Trattoria Zappatori.” This handsome chef hailing from Italy’s culinary capital, Piedmont, is bringing his talents directly to Taipei Marriott Hotel for a limited three-day stint, guiding diners on a flavorful journey through Italy.

Chef Christian Milone is a gifted Michelin-starred chef and a fearless warrior who has conquered the 3,000-kilometer annual cycling spectacle, the Giro d’Italia. He made a dashing entrance at the press conference riding a bicycle, followed by a dazzling cooking demonstration.

The classic dish “Milanese risotto,” enhanced with a touch of licorice oil from northern Italy, offers three distinct flavor layers—sweet, slightly tangy, and bitter—in a simple bowl of risotto. The lunchtime main course, “Beef tenderloin served with celery, onion, and cocoa bean beef sauce,” is a staple in Italian gatherings, with every dish being a classic. From August 3 to August 6, he will be a guest chef at the , treating diners to exquisite cuisine that blends authentic northern Italian flavors with innovative techniques.
