Female celebrities highly recommend this afternoon tea spot — a silver dried-flower tree and a chocolate gold tower are simply gorgeous

The seven large characters “Don’t look for me, I just want to be quiet” are printed on the blue wall. Though the sofa area is labeled as a place to “be quiet,” it has become the liveliest corner in the entire café. Located near Songjiang Nanjing Station, “Quietly Good Times” is a hidden coffee and dessert shop tucked away in an alleyway. It opened quietly in April this year and has already become a popular check-in spot for internet-famous ladies. Filled with dried flowers, plus its cozy space design and delicious cakes, it’s also a go-to afternoon tea spot recommended by female celebrities.

Upon entering the shop, a silver-white tree made of dried flowers comes into view. The blue-toned walls and wooden open bar naturally blend together, and the comfortable dining space is perfect for girls to have heart-to-heart chats. The shop’s unicorn-themed drinks and the dessert “Uriel’s Peak” are the most popular. The rich chocolate chiffon cake is paired with a tall golden hand-pulled sugar, then adorned with beautiful hand-placed decorations on the plate. Its stunning appearance makes you reluctant to dig in. Also, the store’s madeleine cake is a hidden gem — only six are available each day.

The shop isn’t big and gets crowded every afternoon. It’s best to make a phone reservation in advance if you want to visit. In fact, becoming a girls’ check-in hotspot wasn’t part of the owner’s plan. But once the decoration was completed and the dried flowers were put up, the space radiated a girlish vibe. So they went ahead and designed the menu to match what female customers would love. Owner Mr. Huang also runs five other restaurants in the Smith series — including the red wine bar “Wine Cellar” and craft beer bar — catering to different customer preferences.
