Would you dare to lie in a hammock 3,000 meters above ground and enjoy the breeze of the Alps?

The UK travel website Mail Onlinereported on this year’s September event, the “International Highline Meeting Festival,” held in Monte Piana, Italy. It drew 500 enthusiasts from around the world, with 22 eventually making their way into 16 hammocks suspended high above the ground.

Photographer Snapper Sebastian Wahlhuetter captured these thrilling, fun, and enjoyable moments. He is also the founder of the event. He revealed that the ropes are specially rigged to support so many people hanging in hammocks simultaneously, but in such a steep, rocky environment, it’s actually quite difficult to get good photos.

Finally, he also said, “The International Highline Meeting is definitely the best highline event I’ve ever photographed!”
