Only 24 hours — where would you most want to go? “The World’s Top 10 Flash Travel Destinations” with Australia making up 30% of the list

If your trip were cut down to just 24 hours, which city would you most want to visit? A booking website has released the “World’s Top 10 Flash Travel Destinations,” with Paris, France taking the top spot, Sydney, Australia and New York, USA ranking second and third respectively, while Tokyo, Japan — the most popular among Taiwanese travelers — comes in fourth.

Global booking site Booking.com conducted a survey based on the preferences of travelers from 25 countries. Assuming a vacation of only 24 hours, and setting aside geographical and transportation constraints, they compiled a list of the “Top 10 Flash Travel Destinations” that travelers around the world most desire to visit.

The results show that Paris, France — known for its romantic charm and rich artistic and cultural heritage — remains unshaken by terrorist attacks, securing the top spot as the most desired flash travel city in the hearts of travelers.

Australia’s diverse appeal is also highly favored by Booking.com travelers, with three cities in the top ten: Sydney, Melbourne, and the Gold Coast.
