A different vibe: Enjoying stir-fried instant noodles at a Vietnamese café full of exotic charm

A Vietnamese café recently opened at the intersection of Qianfeng Road and Xiaodong Road. Its exterior isn’t particularly eye-catching, yet it has drawn frequent glances from passersby. Decorated with red bricks as the base, it blends seamlessly with the surroundings.

The first floor isn’t spacious, but business has been brisk since its opening. I spent several hours there yet never managed to find a moment to capture an unoccupied backdrop.

The second floor is divided into three small spaces, each with its own style and character.

Checking the owner’s Facebook, I learned that the second-floor space now offers free exhibition services—those interested can contact the café directly.

Tea and utensils are self-service, so make yourself at home ^^

The first floor also sells some Southeast Asian clothing and handmade items brought back by the owners, and their attire adds to the café’s exotic flair.

Black Forest Berry Tea tastes sweet and tangy, bursting with fruity aroma. I also ordered a Milk Mocha Coffee but forgot to take a photo. The coffee is authentic Vietnamese-style, with a very unique flavor—definitely worth trying if you haven’t had it before.

Combo SetThis set offers a few choices for eggs. Boge opted for scrambled eggs this day. The default scramble is slightly undercooked, but you can request it fully cooked—if the owner says it won’t taste as good.

The green salad’s dressing is generous enough that even someone like me, not a big fan of raw greens, finished it all. The macaroni salad portion is just right—not overly much to feel heavy.

The French bread is rich with dough aroma and has a satisfying chew. Bread lovers will definitely enjoy it.

Stir-Fried Instant Noodles

Stir-fried instant noodles are a fairly common dish in Tainan, but these have a unique flavor. They’re quite spicy though, and Boge usually eats mild spice—finishing this dish was a bit of a challenge.

Tainan has plenty of international cuisines, but international cafés are relatively rare. Am's Foods and Goods has its own distinct charm and exotic flair—it’s definitely worth a visit ^__^
