A magnitude 7.0 earthquake occurred in Jiuzhaigou County, Sichuan at 9:00 PM on the 8th, followed about 20 minutes later by an aftershock measuring 3.9. According to reports from the Tourism Bureau, approximately 15 Taiwan tour groups, totaling around 289 people, were traveling in the area, and all members are safe.

On the evening of the 8th, an earthquake struck Jiuzhaigou, Sichuan. After contacting travel agencies such as Kangfu, Wufu, ChangIN, Lion, Southeast, Ba Wei, and Xi Hong, the Tourism Bureau preliminarily learned that there were about 15 tour groups involving around 289 people. Contact has been made, and all individuals in these groups are safe.

Among them, Cola Travel reported that three of its groups, including guides, totaling 47 people, are safe; Shan Fu Travel Service had six groups in the area, all of whom are unharmed.
