Wake up early on the weekend and head to the beautiful seaside. This beach cleanup event will take place at a beach in Ruifang District, New Taipei City. The seawater is surrounded by rocks, forming a natural pool—normally, it would be a stunning, dreamlike spot—but the shore is covered with litter and waste. Unable to bear seeing the natural beauty buried under trash, civic groups have spontaneously organized a beach cleanup. On August 26 (Saturday), the public is invited to arrive at 8:00 AM, bring your own drinking water, gloves, tongs, and trash bags, and help restore the area’s beauty.
