Spring Airlines recruiting Taiwanese flight attendants with no upper limit on hires

Spring Airlines, currently the only low-cost carrier operating cross-strait routes, announced on the 20th that it is recruiting flight attendants in Taiwan. Applications are open from now until the 31st via the 1111 Job Bank website, with the first group of Taiwanese flight attendants expected to begin service early next year.

Spring Airlines is the first airline approved by mainland China to recruit flight attendants in Taiwan. This recruitment drive has no upper limit on the number of hires and imposes no age or gender restrictions. However, applicants must have at least an associate degree and an English proficiency level of TOEIC 500 or equivalent. After the application deadline, interviews are scheduled to be held in Taiwan in November, with the first hires potentially beginning service as early as next Lunar New Year.

Spring Airlines stated that selected Taiwanese flight attendants will need to undergo medical examinations in mainland China and receive training in Shanghai. They will primarily be assigned to cross-strait routes and domestic routes within mainland China. (News source: Central News Agency)
