H7N9 cases rise again; Beijing and Xinjiang issued yellow travel alerts

Beijing and the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region recently reported one new H7N9 flu case each, prompting the Health and Welfare Ministry’s Centers for Disease Control to declare both areas as yellow travel alert zones.
The CDC stated that the travel health risk levels in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Beijing have been raised to Level 2: Alert. Travelers planning to visit these areas are urged to maintain good hygiene practices and avoid contact with poultry.
【Travel Alert Levels】
Red(High): Not recommended for travel
Orange(Medium): Exercise high caution, avoid non-essential travel
Yellow(Low): Be aware of travel safety and consider whether to proceed with the trip
Gray(Minor): Remain vigilant
