As sporadic Ebola cases have been reported in Europe and the United States, the Ministry of Health and Welfare announced on the 21st that, in order to reduce the risk of Ebola entering Taiwan, all passengers on flights arriving from Europe and Dubai must fill out an 'Ebola Entry Declaration Card.' Travelers are urged to provide honest information.

In response to the Ebola outbreak, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) under the Ministry of Health and Welfare has coordinated with airlines to broadcast announcements on all incoming flights, reminding travelers who have visited Ebola-affected areas within the past 21 days to report to CDC quarantine officers upon disembarking.

For flights from Europe and Dubai, the CDC has introduced the 'Ebola Entry Declaration Card' (abbreviated as: Blue Card) starting today. Passengers are required to truthfully indicate whether they have traveled to Ebola-affected areas (Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone) within the past 21 days, to facilitate subsequent tracking and observation.
