A little paradise in the bustling Causeway Bay district — a pure white, spotless mini hotel

We introduced the Causeway Bay Mini Hotel over a year ago, and after more than a year, it has undergone a complete renovation. So we paid a visit on-site to check out the latest updates and share them with you. The hotel lobby, located in the basement, remains just as it was — still visually striking and stylish. It’s actually a nice place to sit and relax (or wait for your travel companions).

Without further ado, let’s get to the point. After the renovation, the rooms at the Causeway Bay Mini Hotel are even more compact than before, with space utilized even more efficiently. (But the clean, all-white look of the rooms is still very well preserved.)

This is the double bed room. You can see that the bed is placed against both side walls. There’s some under-bed space for storing suitcases. Since the room is rectangular, with the bathroom on one side and the window on the other, there’s actually quite a bit of open floor space in the middle, so it doesn’t feel too cramped when you walk in. The natural light from the window, combined with the white room and the mirrors on the walls, makes it visually and sensorily quite comfortable.

The twin room simply replaces the double bed with two single beds (each around 2.5 feet wide), which, when viewed separately, appear a bit narrow. So if you’re staying with friends and it’s not a big issue, you might as well go with the single bed room — it looks more spacious visually.

The bathroom design is largely the same across rooms, and the space is quite sufficient. The photo above shows the completely transparent version (with no curtain at all!), while another option is the frosted glass version. It’s fine if you’re staying alone, but it could be a bit awkward if you’re with regular friends. Apparently, many guests end up waiting in the lobby every night for their roommate to finish showering. If needed, you can request a frosted glass bathroom in advance — be sure to check this when making a reservation.

There are two rooms with balconies on the 5th floor, and the furniture layout is slightly different from the standard rooms. (The one shown above has the frosted glass bathroom.)

And this balcony is surprisingly spacious! Don’t forget we’re right in the heart of busy Causeway Bay. This room is highly recommended.
