South Korea to develop 'Hyperloop'—Seoul to Busan in just 16 minutes

South Korea has announced plans to develop a 'Hyperloop' system, expected to be completed by 2021. Once finished, the travel time from Seoul to Busan will be reduced to just 16 minutes, allowing travelers to commute between the two cities effortlessly in the future.

The 'Hyperloop' is a high-speed transportation system where pods travel through low-pressure, near-vacuum tubes. It utilizes electromagnetic levitation powered by solar energy and is propelled by linear induction motors and air compressors.

According to foreign media reports, South Korea has announced its intention to build a 'Hyperloop,' with an estimated construction period of four years. Once operational, the travel time between Seoul and Busan will be cut to under 20 minutes, drastically reducing the current approximately three-hour journey.
