Coiling Tail, Monster Ice, and Five-Star Hotels Collaborate on Pop-Up Limited-Edition Ice Cream Flavors

Eating ice cream in summer is both refreshing and satisfying. Taipei W Hotel and Regent Taipei have partnered with Coiling Tail and Monster Ice, respectively. Taipei W Hotel has teamed up with the popular Tainan-based ice cream shop Coiling Tail for a pop-up event from August 19 to 27, while Regent Taipei is collaborating with Monster Ice from August 22 to September 5. Both hotels will offer exclusive limited-edition flavors.

Following previous pop-up collaborations such as the Taichung fake hipster red bean pancake and Ding Ding Rice Balls, Taipei W Hotel has partnered with the popular Tainan ice cream shop Coiling Tail to set up the “W Coiling Power Game: Ice & Cocktails” pop-up at the WOOBAR on the 10th floor from August 19 to 27. In addition to selling their award-winning “Popcorn Fragrant Lychee Honey Black Tea” flavor, they’ve also created a W-exclusive “Peach Apple Osmanthus Vodka” ice cream tailored for WOOBAR. Guests can also enjoy WOOBAR’s classic cocktail “Taipei Donkey” and the literary-style “Rice?” drink.

From August 22 to September 5, Regent Taipei will welcome the highly popular ice cream brand “Monster Ice” for a pop-up event. Various super-cute Snow Monster Ice treats, adorned with handcrafted monster sugar frosting and big eyes, will be available at the hotel’s first-floor Azie Restaurant, second-floor Upper Lounge, and basement-level Secret Garden. In addition to popular flavors like Hokkaido Tokachi Fresh Milk, Uji Matcha, and the Tainan store-exclusive Genmai Sencha, two brand-new Regent-exclusive creations have been introduced: “Lychee Ruby,” made with imported French lychee puree and Taiwan’s organic Red Jade tea (No. 18 Tea), and the indulgent “Monster Sea Party,” combining five bold flavors—Hokkaido Tokachi Fresh Milk, Uji Matcha, black sesame, French cocoa, and Miyako Island snow salt peanuts.
