Alishan Hotel Celebrates Its 101st Birthday！ The Chiang Kai-shek Suite Opens for Reservations and Tours for the First Time

On November 4, Alishan Hotel will mark its 101st birthday, and management has organized a month-long anniversary celebration. Visitors can enjoy the forest’s natural scents while also immersing themselves in Alishan’s cultural atmosphere. For the first time, the hotel’s Chiang Kai-shek Suite is open for public reservations and tours, offering guests a chance to experience the ambiance of the suite as it was when used by heads of state in the 1950s.

The month-long anniversary event includes complimentary anniversary gifts for every room booked in November. There will also be vibrant traditional dance performances by Alishan’s indigenous people, melodious violin recitals by elementary school students, and a precious historical photo and text exhibition filled with nostalgic charm.

In addition, the Chiang Kai-shek Suite is now available for public reservation and tour, giving guests a taste of the atmosphere once enjoyed by 1950s-era heads of state. To coincide with the upcoming 2014 ITF Taipei International Travel Fair, the hotel is also offering a special deal: a two-night stay for two people starting at just NT$10,100, allowing guests to enjoy the beautiful scenery and great deals.
