Heading home to vote? TRA election transport trains go on sale at midnight on November 14

To meet the transportation needs of voters on the “Nine-in-One Elections” voting day, Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) will run a total of 97 extra trains across all service levels over three days from Friday, November 28 to Sunday, November 30. This includes 42 Tze-Chiang Limited Express, 18 Chu-Kuang Express, and 4 Fu-Hsing Semi-Express trains (a total of 64 services) on the Eastern Line (including the South-Link Line), and 19 Tze-Chiang Limited Express and 14 Chu-Kuang Express trains (a total of 33 services) on the Western Line. Tickets for all these additional services will go on sale via online and telephone booking systems starting at midnight on Friday, November 14, 2014, with tickets available for travel up to November 30.
