Taiwan International Surfing Competition in Taitung's Jinzun Bay & East Coast Sailfish Season to Savor Delicious Cuisine

The world’s most anticipated surfing event, the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP – the largest international professional surfing organization), will hold its global tour from November 10 to 17 at Taitung’s Jinzun Bay. Taitung County Magistrate Huang Jian-ting held a press conference in Taipei today (3rd) to officially kick off the Taiwan International Surfing Open, gathering top surfers from around the globe to compete in Jinzun Bay.

Alongside the Taiwan International Surfing Open, Taitung County Government has also launched the “Puyuma” city bus service, traveling between various attractions and leisure areas in downtown Taitung. Discounted one-day passes (NT$100) and two-day passes (NT$150) are now available, allowing unlimited rides within the validity period — perfect for visitors exploring Taitung City. Another great deal: from November 10, 2014 to April 30, 2015, guests staying at partner hotels for three nights with their surfboards will receive a complimentary double B tour worth NT$499.
