"The T-Rex is chasing me from behind!” Central China Bridge transforms into Taiwan’s only 3D Jurassic Park

Following the launch of the 3D colorful paintings on Central China Bridge half a year ago, the New Taipei City Government’s Riverside Land Engineering Office (RLEO) has continued to plan large-scale 3D colorful paintings along the riverside bike path at the same location—the only one of its kind in the country. The vivid dinosaur murals not only delight children but also allow adults to step into the scenes and interact with the dinosaurs.

The highlight of this project is transforming the area under Central China Bridge into a dinosaur world, with both bridge pillars painted to resemble prehistoric times. In addition to the thrilling scene of a T-Rex chasing a cyclist, you can also see a dinosaur about to snatch a dinosaur egg; in the even larger group dinosaur world, there’s also an oversized triceratops whose foot has already broken through a cave, seemingly ready to escape the wall.

The RLEO stated that many hardware facilities have already been built on New Taipei City’s riverside lands for the public to use. In the future, the office will focus on providing “soft power” by gradually adding more art and cultural facilities, aiming to establish New Taipei City’s riverside art gallery as soon as possible.
