ITF Taipei International Travel Fair Kicks Off Tomorrow – Check Out the Key Discounts Here

The year-end “ITF Taipei International Travel Fair” will open tomorrow (the 7th). Many travelers are gearing up for the end-of-year fair to snap up Spring Festival and New Year’s deals. With the national holidays announced for next year plus flexible compensatory leave, there will be as many as eight breaks of three days or more, and even four days off for New Year’s Day. This travel fair features promotional packages for winter vacation and Spring Festival from various travel agencies, while also focusing on Northeast Asia routes, with expected sales growth of 20–40%.

Those planning longer trips can take advantage of the six-day Spring Festival holiday (Feb 18–23) next year, plus apply for two extra days off (Feb 16–17), to enjoy a full ten-day break from February 14 to 23. Various travel agencies have launched promotions for this period. You Guozhen, spokesperson for Lion Travel, stated that this fair will focus on cross-year, Spring Festival, and winter vacation packages, saying, “The long breaks will boost buying interest.”

You Guozhen noted that the most promising routes at this fair are those to Northeast Asia, followed by China and Southeast Asia, with expected sales growth of around 20% compared to last year. Lu Yuening, marketing manager of E旅行网 (E Travel Network), said that domestic travel sales are expected to grow by over 40%, while overseas sales are projected to rise about 30% compared to last year. Also optimistic about demand for Northeast Asia, E旅行网 is highlighting island vacation packages.
