Kaohsiung Xiaogang’s First Five-Star Business Hotel“Kaohsiung International Club”Officially opened on the 10th, the former teachers' training center now serves as the 100-room Kaohsiung International Club, managed by Taiwan Shoufu University.

The hotel is located within the campus of the Kaohsiung Municipal Open University, adjacent to Kaohsiung International Airport and the three major industrial zones of Linhai, Dafa, and Linyuan. In 2012, it was leased through a BOT project from the municipal open university in Xiaogang, which involved renovating the original school buildings into a five-star club. The lease is for 30 years, with a possible 10-year extension, and a second-phase investment of NT$1 billion will see the construction of an additional hotel building. Mayor Chen Chu stated that the Kaohsiung Club is the city’s first star-rated hotel integrated with an airport, which will help boost tourism and industrial development, reach out to the world, and hopefully expand cooperation with the private sector to create a win-win situation.

The Kaohsiung International Club enjoys convenient access to the airport, MRT, and national highways, offering guests a safe and convenient accommodation environment. It features 100 stylish rooms, a Taiwanese-Japanese restaurant, banquet halls, an international conference hall, and various business facilities. The rooms are designed with a minimalist concept and warm, vibrant tones to help guests unwind and enjoy a slow-paced stay. The multifunctional banquet halls cater to the needs of exhibitions and events, incorporating the meeting services and business model of the Liantan Club.
