TransAsia Airways announced that it has launched a recruitment drive for flight attendants starting today, with plans to hire 30 new team members. There are no gender, height, or age restrictions for applicants. Regarding salary, the airline’s public relations office stated that the compensation will definitely meet industry standards and be competitively positioned in the market.

The recruitment process involves a three-stage application and selection system. Those interested must submit their application documents to TransAsia Airways’ Neihu corporate headquarters by November 21, 2014 (postmark date included) to undergo the first round of document screening. Candidates who pass this stage will be invited to take subsequent written tests and interviews.

There are no gender, height, or age restrictions for applicants, but they must hold a college degree or higher from domestic or international institutions and have English proficiency equivalent to a TOEIC score of 550 or other recognized English test results. Applicants with communication skills in other foreign languages such as Japanese or Korean, or those capable of identifying various Chinese dialects from mainland China, will be given priority in the selection process. Recruitment results will be announced in December.
