Christmas at Baxianshan – Make Your Own Unique Christmas Wind Chime!

This winter, Baxianshan is filled with a strong Christmas atmosphere. This year (2014), the Baxianshan Nature Education Center has launched the “Christmas Woodworking Workshop,” inviting the public to create unique Christmas wind chimes using fallen leaves, twigs, fruits, and wooden pieces of various sizes.

The Christmas Woodworking Workshop uses fallen leaves and twigs collected from forest trails in Baxianshan as materials. With guidance from woodworking instructors, participants can unleash their creativity and make their own handmade wind chimes. The event will be held on December 13 and 14, starting with check-in at 9:30 AM and ending at 3:30 PM. The registration fee is NT$350 per person (including admission and activity costs); transportation and lunch are to be arranged by participants. The workshop is limited to 50 participants.
