Travel Center / Comprehensive Report
Summer is traditionally the low season for hot spring resorts. Kagaya by Nikken Sekkei in Beitou is launching the "Midsummer Vitality: Soak & Savor Eel Rice" campaign in September. From September 1 to September 30, simply soak in the public baths at Kagaya and you’ll receive a complimentary eel rice lunch (known as unagi jū), priced at NT$880 plus 10% service charge. The usual price for the public bath is NT$1,200 on weekdays and NT$1,500 on weekends.
Soaking in hot springs during summer also has its benefits — it helps release internal heat, promotes sweating, improves blood circulation, relieves fatigue, and boosts immunity.
