Does Ibaraki Airport in Japan have Taiwan routes? Revival Airlines: Still under evaluation

Ibaraki Airport in Japan recently announced in bold letters on its official website: “December 31, 2014 — Ibaraki–Taiwan Revival Airlines charter flight confirmed.” The site also listed multiple travel itineraries to Taiwan, leading many people to wonder: “Will Revival Airlines ever fly to Ibaraki in the future?”
Lu Yixun, deputy PR manager of Revival Airlines, stated that while there are indeed requests from travel agencies for a short-term charter flight between Ibaraki and Taiwan during the New Year holiday, the airline’s internal team still needs to evaluate the Ibaraki route based on fleet scheduling. Therefore, this particular charter flight has only been planned by the agency for Japanese travelers visiting Taiwan. For Taiwanese travelers interested in Ibaraki, Lu Yixun suggested traveling via Tokyo's Narita Airport, which is also quite convenient.
