The 18th Sukiya store in Taiwan, Xinpku Branch, officially opens on September 1

Sukiya Taiwan, which has a medium-term goal of opening 100 stores in Taiwan, continues to expand in the Greater Taipei area. Its 17th store, Dingtupu Branch, opened in June, while the 18th store, “Xinpu Branch,” will officially open on September 1. The store is located about a five-minute walk from Xinpu Station, near Zhili University of Science and Technology.

For people in other cities and counties, there’s a strong hope that Sukiya will start expanding beyond the Greater Taipei area—to places like Taoyuan, Taichung, and Kaohsiung. However, based on Sukiya Taiwan’s current expansion progress, it seems the plan is to first establish a solid presence in Taipei City and New Taipei City before moving to other regions. Currently, Xinpu Branch is open from 10:00 to 23:00, but it is expected to become a 24-hour operation in the future, offering another late-night dining option in Banqiao.
