The Yilan Jiaoxi Hot Spring Festival Kicks Off – Bathtub and Showerhead Installations Add Charm

According to the Yilan County Government’s Department of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism, “Jiaoxi is one big bathhouse.” This year’s Yilan Hot Spring Festival is themed “Hot Springs of Health and Art.” Each week during the event features a different theme, such as Gourmet Week, Local Delicacies Week, and Hotel Week, with around 50 local businesses offering 12% discounts (paying 88% of the original price) as part of the festival. In addition to hot spring-related displays on the streets, there are also telephone booths, pianos, and other elements, filling the entire Jiaoxi area with an artistic vibe.

Additionally, the organizers have planned four cycling routes: the Ma Lu Ancient Trail Route, Wufengqi Scenic Area Route, Longtan Lake Route, and Deszkouxi Stream Route. Tour guides will lead cyclists through Jiaoxi free of charge. During the event, cyclists who ride to the Forest Hot Springs Park can enjoy a soak at half price — just 75 NTD instead of the original 150 NTD.
