Instant messaging platforms have become essential in modern life, and soon you’ll not only be able to meet their popular characters while chatting, but also see them in real life. A well-known messaging app LINE will open the world’s first official café in Bangkok, Thailand, spanning 3,600 square TN. Currently under preparation, it is expected to open in 2015.

LINE has partnered with a Thai telecom provider to open the world’s first café in the renowned Siam Square shopping mall in central Bangkok. The site is currently under renovation, with the exterior walls already featuring images of the app’s popular characters. Mall staff revealed that the opening date is being kept highly confidential, with only a tentative 2015 timeframe known so far. The messaging app has 560 million registered users globally, and many fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the first official café.
