Catching a wild "Little Zhang Junning"? Both Far Eastern and TransAsia flights have her making appearances

The end of each year is when companies roll out their calendars and planners, and to make the visuals more pleasing, many airlines also select their most striking flight attendants to be the stars of their annual calendars, and these stewardesses’ “celebrity looks” often become hot topics of discussion.

In the 2015 calendars released by Far Eastern Air Transport and TransAsia Airways, there is one “Little Zhang Junning” flight attendant in each, said to resemble celebrity Zhang Junning, sparking a unique “Little Zhang Junning rivalry.”

The “Far Eastern Little Zhang Junning,” with her delicate features, is Xiao Yaying, who stands 166 cm tall and has been working at Far Eastern Air Transport for just over a year. She is the December cover star of the airline’s 2015 flight attendant calendar.

Xiao Yaying said that during her school days, people often told her she looked like Zhang Junning, though she feels she resembles the celebrity more when her hair is down. When she ties it up in the flight attendant bun, the similarity inevitably decreases.

Recalling her flying experiences over the past year, Xiao Yaying revealed that she once had a wealthy mainland Chinese second-generation passenger try to buy her a branded designer bracelet from duty-free as a gift on the plane, which startled her so much that she had to refuse the kind offer on the spot. This unique experience remains unforgettable to this day.
