The Golden Lion Lake Scenic Area to Open — Bridge to Feature Fountain "Water Curtain"

The Golden Lion Lake Scenic Area, known as a religious sanctuary, is an important traditional tourist attraction in Greater Kaohsiung. It also combines with the Butterfly Education Park, adding ecological educational value. The recently completed improvement project further boosts the area’s tourism potential. Along with future plans for an ecological revetment in the north and a green park in the south, the appeal of Golden Lion Lake as a tourist destination will be significantly enhanced, creating a new highlight for tourism in Kaohsiung.

The Tourism Bureau stated that this project aims to revive the charm of Golden Lion Lake and establish it as a new nighttime tourism destination. The landscape remodeling of the Golden Lion Sightseeing Bridge, the Three Lions Wooden Boardwalk, the management station, and the lakeside plaza has now been completed. The goal is to integrate it with the attractions of Clear Lake and Lotus Pond, forming a “Golden Triangle” of nighttime tourism in northern Kaohsiung. Visitors can easily explore the area by bicycle, enjoy the Dragon and Tiger Towers at Lotus Pond, immerse themselves in the forest bathing experience at Clear Lake, and take in the traditional yet innovative ambiance of the Golden Lion Bridge.
