As Winter Solstice approaches, the ongoing "Winter Love Yilan Hot Spring Festival" will hold a Winter Solstice glutinous rice ball event at Jiaoxi Theater on the 21st. The event will also feature fun competitions such as glutinous rice ball scooping, with winners receiving rewards like hot spring inn vouchers.

The "2014 Winter Love Yilan Hot Spring Festival" kicks off today, running from December 6 to January 4 of next year—a full month-long event. This year, the organizers have created an atmosphere of a local hot spring town using various art installations such as bathtubs, shower curtains, and showerheads, transforming Jiaoxi into a giant bathhouse. In addition to hot spring-related elements decorating the streets, there are also items like telephone booths and pianos, filling the entire Jiaoxi area with an artistic vibe.

To celebrate the upcoming Winter Solstice on the 22nd, the organizers will prepare 2,000 free servings of glutinous rice balls for visitors to enjoy at Jiaoxi Theater from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on the 21st. There will also be a glutinous rice ball scooping competition, with the top three winners receiving hot spring inn vouchers and hot spring bathing tickets.
