20-year-old brand CTBC Hotel ceases operations; Yunlang: Hanpin will continue service

Yunlang Tourism Group announced that its CTBC Hotel will close its doors on December 31 due to lease expiration, bringing an end to the 20-year-old hotel. Earlier, Yunlang Tourism Group issued a public notice stating that Hanpin Hotel will continue to serve customers in the Taoyuan area.
Yunlang Tourism Group stated that Hanpin Hotel Taoyuan, which opened in 2001 originally as CTBC Hotel Taoyuan, was renamed Hanpin Hotel between August and December 2012 as part of an upgrade to align with urban development and meet the needs of the local premium clientele. The Hanpin Hotel Taoyuan has a total of 170 rooms across floors 9 to 18. Yunlang further noted that competition among hotels in Taoyuan is intense, and the group hopes to make Hanpin Hotel Taoyuan more refined overall, aiming for five-star service standards, with a focus on capturing the wedding banquet market.
