For travelers looking to make the most of their year-end holiday by traveling abroad, Air Busan especially recommends that Taiwanese visitors head to Busan to welcome the first light of 2015.

Air Busan stated that this year, various end-of-year celebration events are being held in the Busan area, including the warm and romantic “Busan Christmas Tree Culture Festival,” where visitors can enjoy a romantic atmosphere along the Gwangbok-ro pedestrian street, shop for a variety of cosmetics, and sample local snacks. Additionally, the “Busan Port Lantern Festival” in the light path of Busan’s Yongdusan Park offers many free multimedia art performances and activities to enjoy, as well as the “Welcome the Sunrise Busan Festival” to bid farewell to 2014. Every year, hundreds of thousands of people participate, allowing visitors to joyfully welcome 2015.

Air Busan noted that current year-end travel packages from Taiwan to Busan are selling briskly, with flights on December 31 already fully booked. It is recommended that travelers consider departing on December 30 to arrive early in Busan and experience unique New Year’s celebrations.
