The 2015 Year of the Sheep Commemorative EasyCard will go on sale this month on the 10th — limited to 1,000 sets and available only while stocks last. The first sale event begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 10. Each set includes 2 cards and is priced at NT$1,200. A total of 35 “lucky number” sets of the sheep-themed EasyCards will also be available for selection by those who obtain a number ticket — don’t miss out if you’re looking to collect special numbers.

This year marks the 11th anniversary of the EasyCard zodiac series. The design continues to feature artwork by “the ever-playful veteran of the art world,” Master Liu Chi-wei, themed around “Harmonious Sheep Leading the Wheel of Unity” and “Lucky Carriage Soaring Ahead of the Pack.” These symbolize the spirit of unity and harmony in the Year of the Sheep, as well as the auspicious sign of leading the pack right from the start of the year.

To prevent people from queuing overnight just to get lucky-numbered zodiac EasyCards, the EasyCard Corporation will begin distributing “lucky selection number tickets” at 7 p.m. on January 9 (the day before the first sale), at the Taipei Capital Art Center, and will also collect payments then. Each person is limited to one set, and distribution will continue until all 35 number tickets are given out.

The EasyCard Corporation states that, apart from the 35 “lucky number” zodiac card sets that will be available for on-site selection during the first sale, other non-selection zodiac EasyCards will also go on sale at 10 a.m. on January 10 simultaneously at the Capital Art Center, the Taipei Main Station MRT Merchandise Store, and the EasyCard online shopping site “EasySHOP.” Quantities are limited and will be available only while stocks last.
