Grand Prize: Win 16 Airline Tickets and Cash Bonus – Hawaii Seeks Its Slogan

To let more Taiwanese know about the wonders of Hawaii and fulfill the Hawaiian dreams of many travel enthusiasts, the Hawaii Tourism Authority is soliciting creative slogans through the “Hawaii 16 & Million Slogan Contest.” The first-place winner can take home 16 airline tickets plus NT$160,000, while the second-place winner will receive 6 tickets and NT$60,000. In actual terms, that’s earning between NT$20,000 and NT$50,000 per character written.

Additionally, the Hawaii Tourism Authority is offering an extra 8 airline tickets. Simply vote for your favorite slogan on the official contest website for a chance to win tickets. Due to the coincidence between the contest name and the popular idol drama “16 Summers,” the Hawaii Tourism Authority has specially invited the show’s male lead, sunny heartthrob actor Yang Yi Zhan, to be the spokesperson and star in a promotional video.

The preliminary round of the “Hawaii 16 & Million Slogan Contest” runs from January 8 to February 5. Just leave a slogan of 16 characters or less that captures the essence of Hawaii on the official contest website, along with a creative themed photo to complete your entry. Participants who vote in the public poll also have a chance to win various prizes, including airline tickets, suitcases, ukuleles, and valuable gift packs.
