This time I visited Anna Coco’s new store on the underground first floor of Weigaosonggao. The space here is well designed – sitting here, you’d never guess it’s part of an open-concept area. With its elegant dining area and refined seating, it exudes a French romantic charm. Coupled with watching the staff create French pulled sugar desserts on the spot, it feels like sitting by an iron griddle, admiring the chef’s dedicated craftsmanship. Of course, the desserts made here are exquisite and captivating, offering an ultimate visual and taste experience. For those who haven’t experienced the charm of French pulled sugar, I highly recommend coming here to try this treat for your eyes!!!

Anna Coco’s Songgao branch features a semi-circular layout with only 12 seats!!

The other half is cleverly divided into a takeaway section for macarons, éclairs, and chocolates.

The walls also feature delicate pulled sugar artworks, almost like pieces of art.

This high stool looks quite unique, doesn’t it? It even has a hook underneath for hanging bags – such a thoughtful design. Hehe, the seat looks elegant and is very comfortable to sit on, matching the French elegance and romance of this place!!

The menu here is both delicate and adorable, and the photos of each item are simply irresistible – I want to try every single one!!

Each dessert is as exquisite as a work of art!!

Oh oh oh, this month is Christmas month – there’s a special “Double Happiness Couple Set” available all through December!! This special couple set is also quite exciting, featuring a choice of 2 out of 5 French pulled sugar desserts and 2 drinks of your choice (excluding alcohol and water), all for just 699 NTD!! Actually, this place is also great for solo visitors to enjoy the “Single Christmas Set,” which includes a choice of 1 out of 5 French pulled sugar desserts and 1 drink of your choice (excluding alcohol and water).
And it’s only 350 NTD!!

When you visit this shop, don’t miss out – be sure to watch the well-trained staff make the pulled sugar desserts. Their focused expressions and movements truly make it feel like art!!!

Come on!!! Here comes the food Up!!!!!

This Volcanic Lava!!! It looks so much better in person!!! The uniquely glass-like, crystal-clear texture of the pulled sugar is absolutely amazing!! When it was served, we couldn’t stop saying “wow!!!!” It’s truly a stunning piece of work!!!! Hehe, although it’s impressive, you still have to eat it Up. The pulled sugar part is very crispy and breaks easily!! Inside is a warm French Michel chocolate cake, topped with Japanese whipped cream, like lava slowly flowing down from a volcanic eruption. Paired with the pulled sugar, the crispy texture combined with the soft, slightly warm chocolate cake is absolutely delicious!!!!

This Mysterious Wild Berry is also gorgeous to look at!!! Visual lovers will definitely adore it!!! It’s filled with whipped cream and custard, along with blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, and apricot glaze – a dessert that’ll make any girl scream!! It’s also made using French crêpes shaped like cones to hold the filling, truly melting the heart!!

Just order one French pulled sugar dessert, and you can enjoy this French smoked chicken savory pie and soup (choose one).

Actually, the soup and savory pie are served before the dessert. These small bites are provided by the shop to awaken your taste buds. Isn’t that quite special!! It’s also one of the shop’s features, adding a lot to the overall service. The savory pie has a crispy base and soft inside, and the flavor is great!!

This pumpkin soup is served in a cup, which also looks very refined, greatly enhancing its appeal!!! And the taste is great too!!

The latte I ordered also uses pulled sugar instead of coffee sugar on top – how unique!!! When you’re ready to drink, just drop it in, letting it melt little by little. Want it sweeter? Let more melt. Otherwise, you can take it out and set it aside – such a fun way to drink coffee!!! This latte is especially interesting to drink!!

Seeing all this, don’t you think Anna Coco’s desserts are different from those at ordinary shops, with an added touch of fun!!!

There’s also flavored tea from France’s Kusmi, with multiple varieties that pair well with desserts too!! Our feeling is that compared to coffee, the tea here pairs even better with the desserts. Hehe, the table mats here are pretty nice too!!!

This is also made of pulled sugar!!

Earlier I mentioned the other half of the space is designed as a takeaway section. Sitting nearby, you’ll notice the customers keep coming non-stop!!

Hehe, it’s really unavoidable – these little treats are just too charming. How can you not take a second look when walking by!! The takeaway section mainly offers macarons, éclairs, and chocolates. Their refined appearance makes them perfect for both gifts and personal enjoyment!!!

The éclairs here are also amazing, not only with a wide variety of flavors – including vanilla, coffee, blueberry, strawberry, chocolate, chestnut, lemon, and more – but also with an interesting origin story. It’s said that éclairs got their name because they’re so delicious, people would eat them at lightning speed!! We’re not sure if that’s true, haha!! But in recent years, they’ve indeed become a trend in Taipei. Their preparation isn’t simple, with complexity comparable to macarons, but their shapes and fillings are even more varied than macarons. Just look at the éclairs in the photo – originally basic designs, but under the skillful hands of the chef, they’ve taken on different Christmas flavors~~ Maybe there will even be Halloween-themed ones!!

The outer shell here uses a puff pastry crust, a bit different from the usual kind – it’s crispier. Most of the cream inside is refreshing and not greasy, with a hint of vanilla fragrance!! Different fruits are also added on top, not only making it more colorful but also adding more flavor.

There’s a diverse selection of chocolates, some with flavors you’ve probably never tried before – chocolate lovers will definitely love it.

Anna Coco is very generous – whatever you want to try, they offer samples!!! At the very least, they’ll generously cut off a third for you!!! That’s enough to get a good taste!!

With such a diverse selection of tasting samples here, they even offer a small cup of tea to refresh your palate, ensuring you can fully appreciate the different flavors. Isn't that thoughtful and generous?

I tried a chocolate with a lavender flavor!! The taste is incredibly rich—true to the distinctive style of France’s Michel chocolates. It even has a filling inside.

A tiny piece slowly melts in your mouth, allowing you to savor the subtle changes—it really brings a momentary sense of happiness!!! Want to prolong that feeling? Buy a few more to take home!!

The exquisite packaging makes it a wonderful gift!!! Giving such a present guarantees you’ll leave a great impression!!

I also picked up some éclairs to bring home since Christmas is approaching, and there are festive decorations too.

Even the Christmas-themed cups are unique!!! There's even a macaron on top.

Bringing home the mini bagels definitely made the little one happiest!!! The kids were all smiling from ear to ear when they saw these adorable treats.

These delicate and dainty éclairs are a bit different from the usual kind—the ones here are topped with a crispy mille-feuille crust, so the first bite gives you a lovely crunch. Of course, the fillings come in a variety of flavors, and the combination of crispy outside and soft inside makes them an absolutely delightful treat!!!

These festive and adorable little decorations are truly mouthwatering!!! The brown chestnut flavor is excellent, bursting with rich chestnut aroma, while the white lemon flavor is refreshing, with a sprinkle of coconut powder adding extra texture.

Anna Cocoa truly elevates desserts to another level. Enjoying sweets here is not just a feast for the taste buds but also a visual delight!! For couples on a date here, it’s sure to spark lots of conversation and create sweet memories. After indulging in the desserts, you can also take some delicious macarons, éclairs, and chocolates for your friends or family, spreading that sweet happiness to your loved ones.

If you want to buy desserts from the takeaway section, be sure to check out Anna Cocoa’s official website and social media pages—they often have special promotions and deals.
