First wave of early-bird discounts as low as 33% off — Osaka and Tokyo included

TransAsia Airways is launching its first wave of early-bird deals on its official website from January 15 to March 31, 2015. The promotion offers an average of 24% off on various international regular routes departing between March and October 24 of this year. The biggest discount is on the Taipei Taoyuan–Okinawa route, starting at NT$5,688, which is 33% off the original price.

According to internal statistics from TransAsia Airways, the Taipei Taoyuan–Osaka route was the top-selling early-bird route in 2014. To encourage travelers to plan their trips in advance, the airline has launched early-bird promotions on nine routes. This time, the early-bird price for the Osaka route starts at NT$6,888, and for Tokyo at NT$7,088. Additionally, from now until December 31, there is also a 10% discount on business class tickets for VISA cardholders.
