With its glass roof, cozy loft, rustic red brick walls, and a giant moon hanging outside, Taipei actually hides such a charming little nook—perfect for weekend get-togethers with friends, sipping drinks and chatting. The scenery is captivating both day and night, and you can find many girls on Instagram snapping dreamy photos here.

Sa Jia Tavern, which opened at the end of December last year, is located on Yanji Street in Da’an District. It initially operated only in the evening but later extended its hours to the afternoon, adopting a café + bar business model. The interior design incorporates styles favored by today’s youth. The owners used rustic red brick walls to create a relaxed space, paired with the glass roof of the loft, giving off strong TV drama vibes.

Sitting in the loft, you’ll see an extra-large, perfectly round moon right outside the window—it’s actually a special decoration placed by the shop. No need to wait for Mid-Autumn Festival; at Sa Jia, there’s a full moon view every day, making it one of the shop’s signatures.

The menu here comes in two versions, served during different times of the day. The evening menu features a variety of cocktails and skewered savory snacks. The evening cocktails have creatively named drinks such as “Fight the Tiger Tonight” and “Beauty and the Beast.” According to the shop, the flavors, characteristics, and little backstories of Sa Jia’s signature cocktails are designed by the bar team—leaving it up to guests to share these stories in person.
