If you’re a fan of SpongeBob, here are 6 ways to bring him to your breakfast table – and then eat him. It’s also a fun idea to make these for someone you like and see them smile.

→ SpongeBob Scrambled Egg Toast (This is covered in my book, you can buy a copy → Link)
The ingredients and method are super simple. You’ll need two rectangular slices of toast, one egg, a slice of cheese, and a few cherry tomatoes. Use one slice as the base, cut the other into a 1/3 piece and stack them together. Scramble and cook the egg, then spread it over the remaining space. Use a round cutter to shape the leftover bread into two big eyes, then cut the cheese and tomato to complete the facial details.

→ SpongeBob Egg Pancake
Use store-bought frozen egg pancake sheets – you can fill them with whatever you like. After frying, fold them into a rectangle. SpongeBob’s features can be made from cheese (the photo shows both cheese slices and buffalo mozzarella, depending on what you have), nori, and cherry tomatoes. You can create any expression you want.

→ Mini SpongeBob Pumpkin Toast
If you happen to find yellow bread that matches SpongeBob’s skin tone, just cut it up to transform it. Other colored parts can vary based on available ingredients – the photo uses mini marshmallows, chocolate, and cherry tomatoes. The slightly darker parts than the yellow bread and the letters are all cut from the bread crust.

→ SpongeBob Fruit / Pancake Platter
It’s Mango Baby! Super natural and healthy. Scoop out and slice the mango, then cut it into desired shapes. The eyes can be made with mini marshmallows, and other parts can be creatively assembled using various fruits or dried fruits – trim them with small scissors if needed. If all fruit platters looked like this, everyone would eat more healthily for sure.
