Japan’s Huis Ten Bosch Hosts “Masquerade Party” – Dance the Night Away in Style with a Mask!

Nagasaki’s famous theme park “Huis Ten Bosch” is holding its largest masquerade party yet! From now on, the park will be filled with masked guests wearing a variety of stylish masks, mingling and greeting visitors. Additionally, from the 30th until February 10th, a masquerade party will be held every night in the park, with each entrant receiving a complimentary mask.

The “2015 Masquerade Party,” which kicked off in early January, brings surprises the moment visitors enter the park! Elegantly dressed masked ladies stroll throughout the park, while numerous masked dukes and gentlemen invite visitors to dance and take photos. Even the dolls in the souvenir shops wear masks, creating an atmosphere as if you’ve stepped back into the medieval era.

From the 30th until February 10th, Huis Ten Bosch will give all entering visitors a free mask as a small gift each day. Throughout the park, European-style formalwear is also available for rent, allowing guests to dress up in style and head to Amsterdam Plaza to join the nighttime-only “Masquerade Party.” Visitors are also welcome to come in their own outfits and dance freely on the dance floor.

In addition to the mask party, Huis Ten Bosch has also designed a “Thrilling City Escape Game.” Participants must solve mysteries hidden within four spooky attractions within a limited time and escape from an area surrounded by the white-clad, white-masked “White Group.” Those who manage to escape within the time limit will receive a limited-edition souvenir.
