The global third branch of the Italian culinary café “Cafe at ALESSI store” officially opened today (29th) at Banqiao Big City in Taipei. The Cafe at ALESSI store, which specializes in Italian cuisine and coffee, was born from the fusion of the lifestyle kitchenware brand ALESSI and the concept of dining, using exclusively its own brand of tableware.

“The dining habits of Chinese people are usually rushed, but enjoying a meal in the beautiful ambiance of ALESSI tableware allows you to truly savor Italian cuisine,” said Ding Yangji, head of the Philip Italian Lifestyle Store, the agency group handling the café. He further noted that future expansion will focus on the Taipei area, with the next possible location being the Eastern District. During the opening period, the Cafe at ALESSI store also collaborated with the Breast Cancer Prevention Foundation, offering a custom-made “2015 Limited Edition Peach Pink Anna Bottle Opener” as a charity item. All proceeds from the sale of 50 sets will be donated in full to the Breast Cancer Prevention Foundation founded by Professor Chang Chin-Chien of National Taiwan University.

The Cafe at ALESSI store at Banqiao Big City offers popular Italian dishes such as “Naples Olive Tuna Panini,” “Mediterranean Spicy Squid Pasta,” “Crispy Prostitute Pasta,” and “Norwegian Smoked Salmon Cream Risotto,” along with Italian desserts. Paired with authentic Italian tableware, the café aims to allow diners to directly experience the use of ALESSI tableware through its cuisine.
